Cozy Winter Decor Ideas for Your Bathroom Vanity

Let's talk about the unsung hero of the home... the bathroom. Chances are you don't give much thought to decorating your bathroom for the holidays. Let's be honest, usually our vanities are littered with hair ties, wadded up hand towels, and dried toothpaste. But this year, I decided to pay special attention to this small spot in my home. Join me as I decorate my sink for the winter season!

First I added a set of adorable trays to my surface. These trays are perfect for the bathroom because they are lined with enamel which is water safe. Not to mention the adorable winter motifs that are printed on each one! I used each tray to hold items I will be using daily at the sink.

I placed the larger tray by the sink and styled it with hand soap, a washcloth, and a beautiful timer candle. My hand soap wasn't anything special until I added a candle ring to the top and placed it in a coordinating bucket! I LOVE how this turned out! The timer candle is not only adorable, but it also serves as a night light for the dark winter months. As a bonus, the mirror reflects the light for an even cozier glow.

HOT TIP!

Most candle rings are wire so if your ring is too small to fit where you need it just take wire cutters and snip it to expand.

The second tray was placed beside the first to hold additional hand towels, washcloths & a jelly jar full of cotton swabs.

I added a metal canister in the corner with a flat lid to serve as both a riser and storage. Oh, and I used the second coordinating bucket from the set to hold a winter half sphere. I also put one of those lovely cardinals on stands next to it. They're just adorable, aren't they? And in the front, I layered another cedar ring with a timer candle ornament on top. It looks so cozy and inviting!

Lastly, I added another cardinal on a post, a lovely embroidered sign to match, and there you have it! I now have a beautifully styled vanity for the winter season! 😊

My bathroom is beautiful but now my HAIR is crazy!! Why did I think it would be a good idea to put a towel on my head for that first pic?!? Oh well.....🤪

Your bathroom now looks so festive and beautiful. I’d love it if you’d put a semi large (?) winter themed picture in place of the two small plaques that are on the wall.
